Breastfeeding Help
Breastfeeding challenges can be very frustrating and stressful, especially in the early postpartum stage. Nourish approaches breastfeeding with the mindset that everyone has unique goals and situations, so the solutions and support will be different for each mom and baby. We are a judgement free zone, taking into account the emotional well-being and overall health of mom and baby above all.
Lactation Counseling Session
***Currently in-home visits are suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions. We are conducting lactation telehealth visits.***
The in-home lactation visits are designed to address any issues in the comfort of your home, so that we can work with your individual space and equipment. This allows for more productive, long-lasting results and avoids packing up your baby for another outside appointment. The home visit will include a supervised, weighed feeding to assess milk transfer, latch and intake as well as address any other issues you may be experiencing.
If an in-person follow-up visit is required this will be considered a separate appointment, however the initial visit will include 1 month of message or phone follow-up questions. The goal is to leave you feeling empowered with new skills and knowledge to make your breastfeeding journey as easy as possible.
Investment: $200 (in home) - 1 month of messages or phone calls included in Lactation Counseling Session
Lactation telehealth sessions may be covered by insurance.
Breastfeeding Questions:
$30 per 15 minutes - phone/video call in which you can ask Kirby specific questions regarding breastfeeding.
